Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards as a form of payment for our services.Do you do out-of-town trips?
We do offer out-of-town trips, but these need to be arranged in advance. Please contact us to schedule your trip.Can you pick me up from the airport?
Due to regulatory restrictions, we are unable to provide pickups from airports located outside of Pueblo. If you are flying into another city, we recommend arranging transportation from that airport to Pueblo through a local taxi or ride service. Once you are back in Pueblo, we will gladly assist with your transportation needs.
What are City Cab's fare rates?
• First 1/8 mile or fraction thereof: $3.35
• Additional 1/8 mile or fraction thereof: $0.30
• Extra for each passenger beyond the first: $1.00
• Charges apply for each additional stop: $0.50
• For every minute wait or fraction thereof: $1.00
How do I set up a trip?
You can schedule a trip with City Cab in one of three easy ways:
1. Online: Fill out our trip request form on our website. Please make sure to complete all fields, including your name, pickup time, pickup location, drop-off location, phone number, and any special requirements. This information helps us confirm availability and accommodate your needs.
2. Phone: Call us directly and one of our dispatchers will assist you with setting up your ride. Dispatch number: (719) 543-2525
3. Email: Send us an email directly and we will do our best to get back to you. To confirm your trip was scheduled you will need to call as we cannot guarantee a trip via email will be received.
What information is needed to set up a trip?
When setting up a trip, please be prepared to provide the following information:
• Your full name
• Pickup location address
• Drop-off location address
• Desired pickup date and time
• Contact phone number
• Any special requirements or accommodation needed for the trip
Providing complete and accurate information helps us schedule your ride efficiently and ensure we can meet your needs.
How can I confirm my trip is scheduled?
To confirm that your trip is scheduled, simply call our dispatch office. Our team can verify the trip details with you, including the date, time, and pickup location. We recommend confirming at least 24 hours before your trip to ensure everything is set.
How do I set up a trip for out of town?
City Cab can provide transportation from Pueblo County to destinations outside of the county. To schedule an out-of-town trip, please call our administration office directly at (719) 696-8032. One of our team members will gather your trip details and provide you with a cost estimate. If you would like to move forward, an invoice will be sent to you, which must be paid in advance to confirm your trip. If a dead-drop fee could apply — for example, if you cancel after the driver has passed a designated point — we will inform you of that in advance when setting up your trip.
Please note: We are only able to pick up passengers outside of Pueblo County if the pickup city does not have its own cab company, due to jurisdictional regulations.
How do I sign up for HCBS/Non-Medical Transportation using Medicaid?
If you are a Medicaid recipient in Pueblo or Otero County and would like to use Non-Medical Transportation services, the first step is to contact the Department of Human Services (DHS) at (719) 583-6900 to verify your eligibility. You must be approved for the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waiver to qualify. Once approved, you can schedule your first ride with Golden Gate Manor Transportation or Pueblo City Cab by calling (719) 427-5618. When you call, please have the following information ready:
• Your name
• Pickup address
• Destination address

How do I cancel a trip?
To cancel a trip, please call us directly and provide the trip details, including the name the trip was scheduled under, the pickup date, and any other relevant information. This helps us cancel your trip promptly and avoid any potential charges.
Can we eat or drink in the car?
No, eating or drinking is not allowed in our vehicles. This helps us keep our cars clean and comfortable for all passengers. Thank you for understanding!
Can I take extra passengers?
Yes, you can bring extra passengers, but all passengers must have their own seat and seatbelt. Most of our vehicles can accommodate 3 to 5 passengers. If you need space for more than three people, please let us know when you schedule your trip so we can check vehicle availability. There is a $1.00 fee for each additional passenger.
What times are the hardest to get in contact with someone to request a trip?
The times that are most difficult to reach our dispatch office are 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM and 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. These are shift-change hours, when our team is focused on transitioning responsibilities and conducting important training. Outside of these windows, response times vary, but we always do our best to answer as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience if you happen to call during a shift change.
Does City Cab have a time when they stop providing services?
No — City Cab operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, even in challenging weather conditions. Rain, sleet, or snow, you can count on us to get you where you need to go!
Why does City Cab sometimes handle Medicaid trips?
Golden Gate Manor Inc. and City Cab operate under the same company umbrella. To make sure we can accommodate all trip requests — especially for important medical appointments — we use the combined strength of our full fleet. When demand is high, City Cab vehicles may be dispatched to help cover Medicaid trips. This allows us to continue providing reliable, on-time service without having to turn anyone away.
Can I request a specific driver?
Yes, you can request a specific driver if you know their name. Just let our dispatch office know when you set up your trip, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
